Who We Are
This benchmark is operated by procurement.news. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at [contact email].
What We Collect
Scenario text. When you use the Scenario Analyser, the procurement scenario you describe is saved to our database. This happens immediately on submission, before results are shown, regardless of whether you provide your email address.
Email address. If you choose to enter your email address to receive your results, we store it alongside your scenario. Providing your email is optional — you may skip this step and still access your results.
We do not collect your name, company, job title, or any other personal information unless you choose to include it in your scenario description.
How We Use Your Data
Scenario text is used to:
- Generate your personalised AI readiness results
- Improve the benchmark methodology through anonymised analysis of how procurement professionals describe their work
- Understand demand for expanding the benchmark to additional roles
Email addresses are used to:
- Notify you when the full 35-role benchmark launches
- Send you the benchmark report referenced at the point of collection
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing your data is:
- Scenario text: Legitimate interest — understanding how the benchmark is used in order to improve it
- Email address: Consent — you provide this voluntarily and may withdraw at any time
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely in Supabase, hosted on infrastructure within the EU or US depending on your selected Supabase region. Data is retained for as long as the benchmark is active. You may request deletion at any time.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for email communications at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [contact email].
